Origins and Early Years
Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo met in Paris in the early โ90s, forming Daft Punk after their previous band, Darlinโ, disbanded. Their robot personas, complete with iconic helmets, became a symbol of futuristic anonymity and artistry.
Later Career and Acclaim
Daft Punk continued to innovate with Human After All (2005), the Grammy-winning Alive 2007 live album, and the Tron: Legacy soundtrack (2010). Their 2013 masterpiece Random Access Memories featured collaborations with Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, winning five Grammys and spawning the global hit โGet Lucky.โ
